From IT work toward this path

Saying that I moved from IT into healing makes it sound as though I crossed a clear line one day. My experience was slower. For a long time, I moved between two kinds of time without having decided what either one meant.

Living in two kinds of time

On weekdays, I worked in startups and IT, among deadlines and numbers. After work or on weekends, I sat in meditation groups and visited healers. The two worlds felt separate. Moving from one to the other required a change of mind and pace.

I did not explain much of this to people around me. I was not yet sure how, and I did not feel that an explanation was required. Still, I noticed small changes. I would carry something from the weekend into a Monday meeting, and the same room would seem to have more depth than it had before.

The body knew first

Looking back, my body understood the direction before my mind made a decision. The morning after a session, my breath was deeper. I noticed the amount of atmosphere I absorbed in a crowded place. Sensitivities that had been natural in childhood began to return.

One of the sessions I now offer at the salon is DNA Activation®. What it involves is described on that page.

I cannot point to one clear moment when I chose this path. Over time, the weekends began to feel like my truer hours, while the weekdays grew thinner. My center of gravity shifted quietly. At some point, I stopped trying to hold it in the old place.

I now recognize this in some of the people I meet at the salon. They have made no decision, yet something inside has started moving. I know the texture of that in-between time through my own body.
